Planting Guide:

Fall - plant approximately 6 weeks before your first hard freeze date.

Digitalis Dalmatian Mix is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 6 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 5 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

Early Spring (cold soil) - plant approximately 2 weeks before your last frost date.

Digitalis, or foxglove, with its signature spires of bell-shaped flowers, adds height and elegance to both garden beds and floral arrangements. 'Dalmatian' is available in a mix of pastel shades including peach, pink, cream, and purple. Also available in straight 'Peach' for the color conscious gardener seeking out a specific palette, this pollinator friendly biennial is a favorite for cottage-style gardens and whimsical wildflower bouquets. Thriving in either part shade or full sun with well-drained soil, Digitalis is beloved by flower farmers and home gardeners for its impressive blooms and graceful structure. Tolerant of frost and the heat of summer, this beginner friendly plant will add seasonal charm and drama to your garden borders and homemade arrangements. 'Dalmatian' is a first year flowering variety that can be planted in the summer for blooms the following spring, or in early spring for flowers in the same season.

**Our 'Mix' products are grown from a custom seed blend created by the breeder, and we cannot guarantee which colors you will receive. While the mix will likely produce the variety of shades shown, it's also possible for the blooms to be all one color or to slightly differ from the colors represented in the product photos.**
