Ordering

We ship to the lower 48 United States and Alaska.

International shipping (including to Canada and Mexico) is not possible due to the intrinsic delays in processing live plants through international customs.

Plugs ship throughout the year from Gro 'n Sell in Chalfont, Pennsylvania. All plugs are custom grown to order and must be ordered 6-13+ weeks in advance of the desired ship date, depending on the product's lead time.

We can only ship full boxes of plants. Order minimums are below:

Plug Plants (4 units, 32 total plants) These are grown in groups of 8 plugs per variety. Each variety is packed in its own mini greenhouse, and 4 mini greenhouses fill one box. Plug plants must be ordered in quantities of 4, and up to 4 different varieties may be combined to fill one box.

Plants in Pots (4 units, 12 total plants) These are grown in individual 2.75" pots. Each variety is packed in its own clamshell containing 3 pots of one variety, and one full box contains 4 of these clamshells. Plants in Pots must be ordered in quantities of 4, and up to 4 different varieties may be combined to fill one box.

All customers (except those in DE, NH, MT, & OR) are subject to state sales tax. If you are a 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt organization, please email orders@gardenclubplants.com to submit your tax exempt certificate prior to placing an order.

All plants are custom grown to order, specifically for you. Depending on the crop, 6-13 weeks of lead time is required to produce your plugs.

Selecting your order's ship week requires some planning, and you are responsible for choosing the ship week that's best for you and your conditions. Click HERE to learn all about ship weeks.

You will be charged at the time that the order is placed.

PayPal Customers: Do note that some financial institutions will charge pre-authorization to your account. This is a security measure to ensure adequate funds are available for the transaction. As such, this is a chance that you will see multiple authorizations to your credit card at the time of purchase. Please rest assured that you were not charged twice, and any extra authorizations will “fall off” of your account within a day or two. We apologize for any worry that this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding. This is an arrangement between your financial institution and PayPal, and is unfortunately out of our hands. To avoid receiving multiple authorizations for a single transaction, we suggest making purchases using a PayPal balance rather than a PayPal-linked credit card.

Yes! Our exclusive custom-made packaging is made from 100% recycled water bottles. The Plug Plant clamshell may be used over and over again as a mini windowsill greenhouse for starting tomatoes, lettuce, and the like! And at the end of their useful life, they are fully recyclable.

Active Orders

You will receive a confirmation email from orders@gardenclubplants.com shortly after placing your order.

If you wish to make changes to an existing order, please contact orders@GardenClubPlants.com with your 5 digit order number and requested changes, and our customer service team will assist you. Please note that once your order is in production, changes are not possible.

Cancellations are accepted up until the order is in production. All orders are custom grown to order, and once seeds are sown or cuttings stuck, an order is not eligible for cancellation or refund.

Shipping

All plants ship via FedEx OneRate shipping. You will receive a shipping notification email with tracking information as soon as the shipping label has been created, and will begin to see movement in the tracking once the shipment has been picked up by the carrier.

We offer flat rate shipping throughout the United States

Plug Plants: $10 per box

One full box contains four (4) mini recycled plastic greenhouses, each containing eight (8) plugs, for a total of 32 plants.

Plants in Pots: $20 per box

One full box contains four (4) recycled plastic clamshells, each containing three (3) 2.5" pots, for a total of 12 plants.

Niwaki Garden Tools ship via USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail at a flat rate of $15 regardless of order size.

We can update your order's shipping address at any time before a shipping label has been printed. Simply email us at orders@GardenClubPlants.com with your 5 digit order number and we'll take it from there!

*Please note that if your order already has a printed shipping label and must be rerouted, you will be charged a $30 rerouting fee. You will be sent an invoice via email, which must be paid before we can reroute the delivery.

Damaged Items & Claims

Our custom packaging is designed to protect your young plants by keeping them securely in place. However, damage in transit is an unfortunate reality of shipping live baby plants, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration.

We accept no liability for damage or delays after your order has been picked up by the carrier, but we will assist you to secure necessary adjustments and find a solution.

To file a claim, please CLICK HERE and our team will assess and get back to you ASAP! You may receive a partial refund, a replacement, or a combination thereof. Claims must be filed within 24 hours of receiving the order.

Every precaution is taken to ensure that happy healthy plants arrive to your door every time. But this is farming, and any number of circumstances can lead to imperfect plants.

You will receive a shipping notification with tracking info when your order ships. Follow the tracking, and make every effort to be home when your order arrives. Garden Club is not responsible for product that is left unreceived, stolen after delivery, or that perishes in an unopened box. 

Damaged or dead plants that were not immediatley removed from their box upon arrival are not eligible for refund or replacement. We advise all shoppers to be available to open their Garden Club box right away, water the young plants, and plant out as soon as possible to avoid injuring or stunting the plants.

Your plugs arrive ready to be planted out immediately, and should not remain in their tray longer than a few days. If kept in their trays any longer, they risk becoming rootbound and stunted. Get your plugs potted up or planted in the ground as soon as possible, then give them a good drink of water.
