When to Plant:
- Warm Soil (After all threat of frost has passed in spring)
China asters are best transplanted after the soil has warmed in spring. They establish under the long days of summer, then set buds as the days shorten. You can shape flower size and stem length by pinching or not pinching, and disbudding or not; they respond well to a little help from the gardener!
