With voluptuous swirls of burgundy, rose, and cream, Cherry Ripple evokes the indulgence of a mouthwatering scoop of black cherry ice cream on a hot summer day. Dianthus 'Sweet Black Cherry' boasts deep, velvety petals echoed by the wine-colored tones in Pansy 'Chianti Shades Mix'. Rudbeckia 'Sahara' adds some depth and variety, its blooms an array of burgundy, gold, creamy yellow and chocolate. Stock 'StoX Antique Rose' rounds out the palette with soft antique pinks and a delicious fragrance. Blooming from early spring into summer, this collection is a treat for all the senses.

When to Plant

  • Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

The Cherry Ripple collection is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 7 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 6 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

**Our 'Mix' products are grown from a custom seed blend created by the breeder, and we cannot guarantee which colors you will receive. While the mix will likely produce the variety of shades shown, it's also possible for the blooms to be all one color or to slightly differ from the colors represented in the product photos.**
