Delphinium Candle White Shades (8 plugs)
8 Plugs Shipped in a Mini Greenhouse
Planting Guide:
Fall - plant approximately 6 weeks before your first hard freeze date.
Delphinium Candle White Shades is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 5 and higher (unprotected), and zone 4 and lower with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
Early Spring (cold soil) - plant approximately 2 weeks before your last frost date.
More typically seen in shades of blue, 'Candle White Shades' is a little different in that it's varying shades of white! This show-stopping flower thrives in cool climates, full sun, and well-drained soil, making it ideal for cutting gardens in northern and coastal regions. Known for its uniformity in both flower structure and growth habits, the candle series is both strong and vigorous, favored by flower farmers and home gardeners. Plant in fall for hot climates or in spring for moderate and cool regions to achieve first-year flowering. With excellent vase life and bold presence at the back of a border, this beautiful flower deserves a place in every garden.
**Our 'Mix' products are grown from a custom seed blend created by the breeder, and we cannot guarantee which colors you will receive. While the mix will likely produce the variety of shades shown, it's also possible for the blooms to be all one color or to slightly differ from the colors represented in the product photos.**
