Exactly What You’ll Receive

  • Helichrysum King plug plants
  • 8 standard plug plants roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
  • 1 recycled & reusable mini greenhouse

When to Plant

  • Flexible (Can tolerate cool soil or warm soil in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

Helichrysum King is a dried flower designer’s dream come true.  Even when fresh, the petals grow straight out and create a spiky flat crown shape.  When you drag your fingers through the paper-like pointed petals, one can hear an audible crunchy sound. It's ASMR for the flower world. Helichrysum holds its bright, saturated colors even when dried, and growers can count on long stems that can reach more than 4-feet tall. Helichrysum is easy to grow, great for beginner gardeners, loves the heat, and offers excellent vase life.

Helichrysum King is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 8 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 7 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

**Our 'Mix' products are grown from a custom seed blend created by the breeder, and we cannot guarantee which colors you will receive. While the mix will likely produce the variety of shades shown, it's also possible for the blooms to be all one color or to slightly differ from the colors represented in the product photos.**
