Fall - plant approximately 6 weeks before your first hard freeze date.

Helichrysum King Salmon is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 8 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 7 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

Spring (cold soil or warm soil) - plant anytime from 2 weeks before your last frost date to after it has passed.

Known for its everlasting, papery blooms, Helichrysum - or strawflower - brings vibrant, long-lasting color to bouquets and dried arrangements. Available as a bright and bold colored mix or a more refined selection of salmon shades, this easy-to-grow annual flower thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Ideal for home gardeners or professional cut flower growers, it's cut-and-come-again nature offers multiple harvests throughout the season and blooms will hold their beauty even after drying. Planted in early spring, rugged plants tolerate light frost in both spring and fall and thrive during the long, hot days of summer.

**This variety showcases beautiful natural variation in color, meaning the blooms may feature shades of salmon, peach and apricot similar to those in the photos, but not identical. This unique characteristic adds depth and charm to your garden, creating a display full of subtle, harmonious differences.**
