QIS Larkspur is highly refined, and bred for uniformity, stem quality, and saturated color - perfect for discerning gardeners and floral designers alike.

Exactly What You'll Receive

  • Larkspur QIS plug plants
  • 8 standard plug plants, roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
  • 1 recycled and reusable mini greenhouse

When to Plant

  • Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

This elegant annual produces tall spires densely packed with delicate, spurred blossoms in a mix of lilac, rose, white, lavender, blue, and carmine. Its graceful vertical form adds movement and structure to both garden beds and floral arrangements, while the long, strong stems make it an ideal choice for cutting. Best planted in fall in mild zones (USDA 6+) or very early spring in colder climates, Larkspur prefers cool weather and rewards you with romantic blooms just as the garden wakes up. Excellent vase life, ethereal texture, and nostalgic charm make QIS Mix a must-have for cottage-inspired borders and bouquet lovers alike.

Larkspur QIS is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 6 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 5 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

**Our 'Mix' products are grown from a custom seed blend created by the breeder, and we cannot guarantee which colors you will receive. While the mix will likely produce the variety of shades shown, it's also possible for the blooms to be all one color or to slightly differ from the colors represented in the product photos.**
