Arena 3 Apricot is a vigorous, easy-to-grow lisianthus in a stunning apricot-pink. This variety does well in summertime heat, producing 2-3 foot tall stems of gorgeous rose-like flowers that last up to 2 weeks in the vase. It's a tried and true variety still favored amongst experienced lisianthus growers. If you're nervous to give lisianthus a try, this would be a great starting point.

Exactly What You’ll Receive:

  • Lisianthus Arena 3 Apricot plug plants
  • 8 standard plug plants roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
  • 1 recycled & reusable mini greenhouse

When to Plant:

  • Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

There are many varieties of lisianthus coming onto the market yearly, as they are one of the most popular cut flowers on a global scale. The Arena series has been on the market for a while, and while it's not "new", it's still one of the top contending varieties for field-grown lisianthus due to its hardiness and easy-to-grow nature. The color is the perfect, most sought after peachy-pink, which blends in well with most color palettes in both the garden and the vase.

For best results, Lisianthus should be planted in fertile well-drained soil, in an area that receives full sun. Lisianthus require some specific requirements to grow properly; please visit our Lisianthus Growing Guide to read more on how to keep your Lisianthus happy and healthy.

Lisianthus are generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 10 and higher (unprotected), and Zone 9 with additional protection from a hoop house or frost cloth. Any USDA zone below 9 should spring plant their Lisianthus. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
