Lisianthus Chateau Blue mesmerizes with a color-shifting quality in shades of cream and lavender, unlike any other Lisianthus on the market. Lisianthus are famous in the cut flower world for their stunning rose-like form and long vase life–and infamous for being fussy to start from seed. Skip germination frustration with the very same Lisianthus plug pants preferred by professional flower farmers.

What You’ll Receive

  • Lisianthus Chateau Blue plug plants
  • 8 standard plug plants roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
  • 1 recycled & reusable mini greenhouse

When to Plant

  • Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

Lisianthus Chateau Blue is the only color in the Chateau series, and is truly one of a kind. It is indeed a lavender beige color as the photo indicates, unlike anything we've ever seen in the world of Lisianthus. It is fully ruffled and large-flowered, and its color-shifting properties means it pairs well with many different palettes. Plant alongside other lavender and purple flowers for an incredible display through the summer months. For best results, Lisianthus should be planted in fertile, well-drained soil, in an area that receives full sun. Lisianthus have some specific requirements to grow properly; please visit our Lisianthus Growing Guide to read more on how to keep your Lisianthus happy and healthy.

Lisianthus are generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 10 and higher (unprotected), and Zone 9 with additional protection from a hoop house or frost cloth. Any USDA zone below 9 should spring plant their Lisianthus. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
