The Celeb line is among the most popular Lisianthus for its large size and extreme frills. Choose from Beige Neo, a subtle beauty with wavy petals in a gentle fawn toned with barely-blush, which floral designers went wild for when it was introduced in 2024; or Rouge, not a true red but a deep rosy pink, the darkest pink in the Celeb lineup.

Exactly What You'll Receive:

  • Lisianthus Celeb 1 plug plants of your chosen color
  • 8 standard plug plants roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
  • 1 recycled & reusable mini greenhouse

When to Plant:

  • Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
  • Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

The Celeb series features large to extremely large, fully double, fringed flowers in a wide range of desirable colors, making them a focal point in the garden; bring them inside as cut flowers for a vase life of up to two weeks. Celeb and other hybrid varieties share the same parent, prairie gentian, a blue wildflower native to central Texas and the prairie states.

This series dominates the Japanese Lisianthus market, and many cut flowers imported from Japan are Celeb types. Garden visitors will be asking about these incredible flowers, rarely seen outside professional cut flower facilities. For best results, plant Lisianthus in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Lisianthus have some specific growing requirements; visit our Lisianthus growing guide to learn how to keep yours happy and healthy.

Lisianthus are generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 10 and higher (unprotected), and Zone 9 with additional protection from a hoop house or frost cloth. Any USDA zone below 9 should spring plant their Lisianthus. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
