Lisianthus Rosanne 2 Terracotta (8 plugs)

This is the only double-flowered Lisianthus series in ultra-unique designer shades found nowhere else in the cut flower world. Lisianthus Rosanne 2 Terracotta is a reddish brown with a lighter reverse petal that pairs beautifully with its bright green buds.

When to Plant:

• Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
• Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

The Rosanne series is so odd, you can't help but love her. You may find a small percentage of "off-types," but even these will be beautiful and unique in their own way. A breeding breakthrough in Japan, this series is seldom seen in home gardens, and we're excited to make it more readily available on a smaller scale. Also known as prairie gentian, Lisianthus are annuals with rose-like flowers on 2-3 foot stems that can be cut and enjoyed in a vase indoors. Lisianthus are generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 10 and higher (unprotected), and Zone 9 with additional protection from a hoop house or frost cloth. Any USDA zone below 9 should spring plant their Lisianthus. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
