Marigold (8 plugs)
Ship Week
Marigold Chedi Orange and White Swan grow up to 4' tall with fully double, ruffled pompom blooms, excellent for cut flower bouquets and useful as pest repellents in the garden. Choose Chedi Orange for extremely vivid orange, or White Swan for natural creamy white.
Exactly What You'll Receive:
- Marigold plug plants of your chosen variety
- 8 standard plug plants roughly 1" x 1" x 2"
- 1 recycled & reusable mini greenhouse
When to Plant:
- Warm Soil (After all threat of frost has passed in spring)
These magnificent, tall varieties grow 4 to 5 feet under ideal conditions! Chedi Orange's vivid orange adds main-character energy and a burst of welcome neon color to any landscape or bouquet, while White Swan's creamy white is a fresh take on the traditional namesake marigold, adding neutral, soft tones to any garden. Both have impressive vase life, and their fully double, ruffled pompoms thrive in full sun. Marigolds are often used in Indian wedding celebrations and Mexican Day of the Dead ceremonies; easily strung and sewn as adornments, and often interchanged with one another, they are also wonderful pest repellents, guarding your garden when left to grow instead of being cut. Keep their height in mind and plant toward the back of a garden so they won't block the sun from nearby plant friends.
