Pansies are most often regarded as cute, cheerful early spring annuals that can be planted in the garden before anything else, when nights are still frosty and other plants remain dormant. While this still holds true, we are pleased to offer unique, modern cultivars in an amazing array of colors and petal forms that are a fresh take on the traditional Pansy.

When to Plant 

• Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
• Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

Can Can Mix: This is the pick for those who can't choose just one color! It contains a plethora of pastels, deep saturated jewel tones, and lots of bicolor surprises. With large, heavily ruffled petals that are enhanced by cool temperatures, Can Can has some of the most sumptuous flowers in the Pansy world.

Chianti Shades Mix: Chianti Shades Mix are semi-ruffled, medium-sized Pansies carrying rich shades of terracotta, salmon, and rose splashed with red wine. The plants are ideal for container gardens, where the color palette will pair beautifully with other springtime blooms.

Frizzle Sizzle Lemonberry: Gently ruffled flowers unfurl in soft yellow with berry-purple edges, and can grow up to two inches across. This color combination is rarely seen in other Pansy mixes, which adds a special character to garden pots, container plantings, and floral creations.

Imperial Antique Shades: Traditional pansies come in bright, bold colors with black masks, but this look doesn’t appeal to everyone. For the discerning gardener who prefers a more subtle appearance, perhaps this captivating blend of pastel blooms in cream, peach, white, gold, burgundy, and rose hues is a better fit. These medium to large, smooth-petaled flowers are mildly fragrant, adding a delightful scent to your home when included in a garden bouquet. 

To design with Pansies in the vase, keep pinching early blossoms to achieve long stems later in the season. Pansies will perform best if planted in well draining, moderately fertile soil, in an area that receives full sun.
