When to Plant 

• Cool Soil (About 2 weeks before your 'last frost' date in spring)
• Fall Planted (Approximately 6 weeks before your first frost date in the fall)

This new series is ideal for fall planting, especially under a tunnel in USDA zones 7 and below.  Overwintered Snapstar will yield long, florist-quality stems that arrive just when fresh flowers are most welcome in the spring. This Snapdragon can also be planted in the spring, about two weeks before your average last frost.  

Successful overwintering of fall-planted Snaps may require a greenhouse, hoop house, or frost cloth and low hoops. Fall planting plugs for spring flowers comes with the thrill of risk and reward; these recommendations are guidelines and not guarantees of winter survivability.
