Ammi Green Mist

8 Plugs Shipped in a Mini Greenhouse

Planting Guide:

Fall - plant approximately 6 weeks before your first hard freeze date.

Ammi Green Mist is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 7 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 6 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.

Early Spring (cold soil) - plant approximately 2 weeks before your last frost date.

Known for its delicate, lace-like blooms, Ammi visnaga 'Green Mist' is the secret to creating soft, airy textures in bouquets and floral arrangements. With clusters of tiny white flowers tinged with a subtle green hue, this versatile filler brings a refined charm to everything from romantic wedding bouquets to wildflower-inspired centerpieces. Its tall, elegant stems and excellent vase life make it a favorite among both flower farmers and garden enthusiasts alike. Unlike the roadside Queen Anne's Lace, 'Green Mist' is a cultivated variety that thrives in cutting gardens, blooming prolifically in full sun and well-drained soil. It’s hardy enough to withstand light frost and can even overwinter in milder climates, offering gardeners a head start on the growing season. To enjoy continuous blooms into summer, plant in early spring and succession sow. Pro tip: Plant these plugs immediately upon arrival to prevent them from becoming root bound, and watch your garden transform into a haven of timeless elegance.
