Digitalis Camelot Cream
8 Plugs Shipped in a Mini Greenhouse
Planting Guide:
Fall - plant approximately 6 weeks before your first hard freeze date.
Digitalis Camelot Cream is generally suitable for fall planting in USDA zones 6 and higher (unprotected), and Zones 5 and below with additional protection from a greenhouse, hoop house or frost cloth. This is strictly a guideline and we cannot guarantee winter survivability.
Early Spring (cold soil) - plant approximately 2 weeks before your last frost date.
Digitalis, or foxglove, with its signature spires of bell-shaped flowers, adds height and elegance to garden beds and floral designs. The 'Camelot Cream' variety features soft ivory-yellow blooms with delicately speckled throats, making it ideal for neutral-toned bouquets and romantic garden schemes. This pollinator-friendly biennial thrives in part shade or full sun and well-drained soil, offering strong vertical structure and a long bloom window. Unlike traditional biennials, the Camelot series is first-year flowering, meaning it can be planted in early spring for blooms the same season or in late summer for flowering the following year. Cold and heat tolerant, it’s an excellent choice for gardeners seeking reliable, eye-catching spikes in both cottage gardens and cutting beds.
