This hardy perennial can be cut early, late, right on time or after going to seed and still work beautifully in any floral design. Its star-shaped, succulent-like flowers are beautiful dried or as textural filler in fresh arrangements. Autumn Fire brings a white to baby pink to flamingo to dark pink palette that lets filler pieces pop, and is a little taller and a little redder than 'Autumn Joy'. Notoriously hard to kill, Sedum grows under most circumstances, so gardeners love planting it in places of uncertainty. It loves full sun and well-drained soil but will also thrive in partial sun and poor soil; be prepared for it to return thicker and expand each year.
